This guy is more of a technical/luck fight imo. Theres a lot that has to go on with a few key people. MD's/Add kiting has to be taken care of fast. The longer infernals are in the raid. The more likely someone is going to die and your raid is down 1 more body.

We really don't include many of the NPC's in on this fight unless we have too. Or if it's an accident. If you do include Jaina in on the very first infernal kill chances are she will die off before the boss hits 20%. So we don't recommend getting her involved at all.

Raid/Healers - You need to spread... the fuck... out. Bottom line is. If you are stacked up on one another you are doomed from the start. You need to stand left to right not in front or behind one another. If you can try to circle the boss and do DPS DPS DPS HEALER. That way chances are no more than 1 healer will have Carrion Swarm at a time. You will find you do not like Carrion Swarm when you are trying to heal SO SPREAD OUT!

You can out range Carrion Swarm. Which is really only useful to people healing your Infernal tank.



As I mentioned above, this boss has Carrion Swarm, which is a nasty debuff for healers. To everyone else it's not a big deal except for the initial 4-6k Shadow damage it will hit you for. The debuff which is totally resistable with SR neck/cloak reduces healing done by 75% which basically makes your heals worthless. It lasts for 15seconds. This ability works in a cone effect so make sure you are spread out. If more than 3-4 people get hit, you're doing something wrong.

The first Infernal will spawn around 15-20 seconds into the fight. If you are using a prot warrior with FR have your pally tank use exorcism and kite the infernal to your warrior. Your FR warrior/Pally should be standing on the orange dot. The red circle around it is the AOE radius of the infernals. After 2-3 infernals are being tanked a kiter in that radius will instantly die. An additionaly infernal will spawn every 60 seconds after the first one is spawned. So if you have the available hunters setup a rotation. We kill the first, with 2-3 range dps. This buys you some time incase you have to tank 1-2 more infernals than you planned. We normally try to have the boss down within 4 infernal spawns.

Healers for FR tank - we normally use a Resto Druid and a Priest. If possible switch the priest for a holy pally for FR aura and better direct heals. Starting off its easy very little damage. Around 3-4 you will see, your mana dropping hardcore. Make sure to call for help if you need it.

Other than that raid, watch your aggro and DPS the hell out of this boss. If an infernal spawns on you move away. It will stun anyone around it.

On another note the boss also has Vampiric Aura, which is a 5second buff that heals him for 300% of his melee damage done. SO Wound Poisons and/or Mortal Strike must be up.

If you just get good people picking up infernals and have the rest of your people spread out and do good dps he will drop fairly fast. And you will be ready to move on to the horde encampment :)


Group Make up:

2 Prot Warriors - We bring 3.5 tanks. One with FR gear.
1 Pally Tank - Trash whore. Picks up first 1-2 infernals if short on MDs could also tank them.
1-2 Rogues
1 Feral Druid - Great for offtank for trash good for kitty dps, great raid buff.
5-6 Mages
2-3 Locks - Lifetap mmk?
1-3 Hunters - helpful for misdirects on infernals.
1-2 Holy Priests
3-4 Resto Shamans
1-2 Resto Druid - Why not.
1 Oomkin Druid - Ok.
1 Elemental Shaman - Ok.
