Addons take up space and use up memory which can hinder your computers performance when playing wow. This happens when your computer isn't beasty enough to handle the use of multiple addons simultaneously and the more that you use in conjunction with one another the more you will be able to tell playing the game.

With that being said, there is only one addon that is required. Our guild has adopted as the official raid boss mod so please download and install it. Yes there are other boss mods, yes they work, and yes they will probably be just as good. However, if you fuck up a raid because yours isn't working right then you will be screwed, whereas, if you fuck up because DBM was off, you won't.


Another highly recommended mod but is not required is . There is already a built in threat meter in the default blizzard UI. However, I honestly think it is crap and have always preferred omen because it shows numerical values of threat instead of just turning bars different colors. As a tank, I use both because it is better to be safe than sorry.
